🏌️♂️ Rapid-Fire Takeaways:
✅ Club Adjustability is Underrated – You might not need a new club; small tweaks to loft, lie, and weight settings can drastically improve performance.
✅ Worn-Out Grips = Bad Golf – Slipping leads to excess grip pressure, which affects your swing. Check your grips regularly!
✅ More Loft = More Distance (for Most Golfers!) – Many amateur golfers play with too little loft, especially on drivers and fairway woods.
✅ Your Shaft Isn’t “Causing” Your Slice – A softer shaft doesn’t make the ball go right—it often leads to more leftward shots due to increased flex and closure.
✅ Newer Isn't Always Better – A well-fitted club from 3 years ago often outperforms the latest release if it suits your swing better.
✅ Gapping Matters More Than You Think – Stronger lofted irons create bigger gaps in your bag; make sure your wedges are properly spaced.
✅ A Fitting Is Not Just for Good Golfers – Beginners and high-handicappers benefit just as much (if not more) from properly fit clubs.
⛳️ A Challenge for Your Next Round:
🔹 Test Your Loft for More Distance: If you have an adjustable driver, increase the loft by 1-2° and see if you gain carry distance and accuracy. Most amateurs hit too low due to insufficient loft!
🔹 Grip Check & Pressure Test: Before your next round, inspect your grips—are they worn, slick, or shiny? If so, it’s time for a change.
💡 Quick Hits for Better Golf:
